PNG Burners for Domestic applications
This burner is developed for operation with piped natural gas (PNG) at a standard domestic supply pressure, utilizing porous media – based flame stabilization to achieve efficient and controlled combustion. The porous structure enables uniform heat release and stable flame anchoring over a wide operating range. The burner has been experimentally evaluated for domestic cooking applications and supports a thermal input range of approximately 2.1–7.7 kW when operated with PNG and it can be scaled up to medium scale and large-scale burner for cooking applications. Within this range, the burner demonstrates reliable ignition, stable combustion, and consistent thermal performance. Key performance features including Stable blue combustion with low flame lift-off, High thermal efficiency, Low carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions, compliant with applicable domestic standards. Overall, the porous media – stabilized PNG burner offers enhanced efficiency, improved combustion stability, and reduced emissions compared to conventional domestic gas burners, making it well suited for modern, energy-efficient cooking applications.

PNG Burner for Industrial Applications
This burner is designed for medium- to high-capacity industrial heating applications and operates on piped natural gas (PNG) using porous media–based flame stabilization to achieve efficient, stable, and controllable combustion. The integrated porous structure enables uniform heat release and strong flame anchoring, ensuring reliable performance even at high thermal loads. As shown in the burner configuration, the metallic housing incorporates an internally mounted porous combustion zone, providing effective thermal management, mechanical robustness, and suitability for continuous industrial operation. The design is inherently scalable, allowing adaptation from medium-capacity to high-capacity thermal inputs for a wide range of industrial heating systems. Across its operating range, the burner exhibits stable, low-lift blue combustion, high thermal efficiency, and low emissions of carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx), in compliance with applicable industrial emission standards. Compared to conventional free-flame industrial burners, the porous media–stabilized PNG burner offers enhanced efficiency, improved combustion stability, and reduced emissions, making it well suited for industrial furnaces, ovens, dryers, process heaters, and other energy-efficient thermal processing applications. In addition to PNG, the burner configuration and porous media stabilization enable flexible operation with low calorific value gaseous fuels, such as biogas, producer gas, coke oven gas, and blast furnace gas, subject to appropriate fuel–air ratio control. Overall, the porous media–stabilized burner offers enhanced efficiency, improved combustion stability, and reduced emissions, well suited for modern, energy-efficient industrial heating applications with fuel-flexible operation.
